What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website can ask your browser to store. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep small amounts of data on your device in a comparable way. Some of these are needed for a site to work. Others follow your activity across pages or sites; in the EU and similar jurisdictions those may only be used with your consent.
Cookies and Storage We Use
This website sets one cookie, and nothing else:
- kj_consent — records the choice you make in the cookie notice so that the notice is not shown again. It is a first-party cookie, strictly necessary for that purpose, and expires after 180 days.
Because this cookie only remembers your own choice on our site, it is treated as strictly necessary and does not require consent. We do not set cookies or similar storage for analytics, advertising, profiling or social media, and we do not sell or share cookie data with third parties.
Third-Party Requests
The typefaces used on this site are hosted on our own server, so opening a page does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service. The pages contain no analytics tools, no advertising pixels, no social media plug-ins and no embedded third-party media.
When a page is delivered, our hosting provider may record technical request details such as your IP address, the page requested and the time, to serve the site and keep it secure. That is server logging on the provider’s side and is not a cookie set by us.
Your Choices
In the cookie notice you can choose “Accept all” or “Essential only”. The website currently uses no optional cookies, so both choices behave in the same way today: either way we only store the preference itself, in the kj_consent cookie for 180 days. If optional services are added later, this statement and the notice will be updated first.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser. The notice will then appear again on your next visit.
Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies in their settings — for example Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Blocking the kj_consent cookie only means the cookie notice appears on each visit. Blocking cookies altogether can affect how other websites work.
